If the auto industry don’t get their bailout money , this is a model of what they will manufactor cause they will have to make adjustments in material costs ??
It has been rumored they will call it the exercise mobile ? This might be a good thing for a lot of people that don’t exercise enough ! My question is what are big families going to do about enough room for family ? I guess they will have to purchase two of them to keep the disagreements down on who will drive ? For folks like me they will have to add training wheels since I cain’t walk around that good without my cane ??
What are your thoughts on this new model ?

I think that the Govt. should not bail out automakers without a lot of employees and management would go back to living with what they need instead their wants ??? After all for decades the people above the mason dixon line in this country has looked down on folks below the line [ US SOUTHERNERS ] of being poor people while the unions have made money off of ya’ll and promised all the high wages to ya’ll !
Seems to me that 28.00 dollars an hour take home pay and if you include all your benefits it averages out to 72.00 DOLLARS per hour ? A lot of people for decades or living on their wants ? Most of ya’ll act like a hog getting fat feeding on the acorns under the tree and never looking up to see where they were coming from ??? If I was like that I would be begging for a bailout too. Now the union boss is getting down on his knees begging the Govt. for a bailout ? He must be getting worried about his job also ?
Just look at the Haundi [excuse spelling] car manufactoring plant in Montgomery Ala. they are still afloat ! They make an average of 27.50 an hour and they aren’t union ? The difference is their management is treating their employes with decency and respect ? As the old saying is A country Boy can survive ?

All is well just trying to keep things going . I now have added to additions to mine and princess’s family ! I took custody of two of my granddaughters and now I’m starting over raising two granddaughters that are 11 years and 9 years old ? Things are going alright so far ?

I have been kept busy for 8 days now since they came to live with me . I officially have started a new family with the girls ? I couldn’t bear the idea that they were going to a foster home somewhere else in Georgia ? Princess is enjoying them !
They have been little troupers today because they have been vacceumning and dusting the house and helping to clean it up for inspection next week from the case worker ! They have got it looking pretty good ? They were working so hard and I asked them why ! They said because we want to make sure we can live with you !
They also said because I was a very good cook ? They also know paparon refuses to spare the rod ? They are real good kids and I love them much . I haven’t had any trouble with them ?

I am doing! Ok!
I have to go to the specialist in Hamilton Jan 18th and he will be able to tell where my Myotonic Dystrophy is. My leg muscles are getting pretty bad.
I took my friends Donna and Felisol’s advice and have been taking it easier the last few weeks
Bernie and I once took a little niece under our wings.
She was going to be parceled out to the Children’s Aid, so we stepped in and offered our service.
She lived with us almost a year before she went back to her mom and dad and when she left, the house was so empty!
A week after she left we found a little shoe of hers that had been left behind and we cried!
One good thing is though, we still see her all of the time.
She was almost two years old when we had her and now she is thirty!
Have a blessed Lords Day Grandpaw and I just know that those girls will be seeing Mr. and Mrs. Cloud at Sunday School today!

I feel as I am blessed very much ? although I wished these circomstances had not happened ? I will be 64 in 7 days and I feel that God is in charge ! He knew what an old man that has some of the same things wrong with his legs also , He knew what kind of treatment to give me for my pain ? My baby boy Brett is 40 years old but I feel as if God placed me with this responsibility to share His everlasting love with me and to share it with these girls ?
With the guidance of my lord to lead me every day and help me teach them I ain’t gona worry too awful much cause of all the blessings I will recieve ? I already am indebeted to Him for the rest of my liife and I know He’ll allow me a little more instructions to try and Glorify His name ?

Recieved a blessing this morning ! Me and the girls made 7 dozen Merry Christmas Fruitcake Cookies this morning ? We also made 3 dozen Fruitcake Squares this morning made like you cook brownies ? I cain’t walk around much but I can sit on my stool in the kitchen and cook up some good grub ?? When its kinda chilly they like to sit under the Christmas lights on my porch and drink hot chocolate and dip cookies in chocolate and eat them ? I always have a cup of java with hazelnut coffee creamer ? Already spoiling them some more ??
Yep I’ll be 23,360 days old and 5 and 1/2 hours old next sunday AM 12-28-08 ? Sounds ancient don’t it ??

Dear Grandpaw Ron,
I wish I could say that the elderly folk at the nursing home could say that they were blessed. The Christians go weekly every Sunday to sing for them and this year decided to make a nice plate of baked goodies for each one. Well I CAN’T bake but I decided to at least try and help out a bit. I googled a chocolate cookie recipe and baked up a few dozen cookies.
What a disaster! Those things were hard as rock and flatter than a pancake!
And for some strange reason the sing was cancelled this Sunday.
For sure and I hope it wasn’t because the elderly folk had tummy aches!!!!
Bernie liked the cookies but then I bribed him. If he didn’t eat them, there would be no more burnt English muffins for HIM
Gee…there is no way we can sit on the front porch sipping hot chocolate on a starry evening. We have a few feet of white stuff that Mrs. Mac delivered….Brrrr!!!!!…….Love Terry

You should have went and bought one of the variety plates of cookies ! Every time all of them would visit me they would put in an order for an upside down pie or homemade cookies or one of my famous meals that is so good that it almost makes them run away from home ??? Its been to cold the last couple of days to sit on the porch but that just don’t stop us from enjoying it inside ? They are doing ok right now but we still need Gods blessings ?
